Review: ‘Drone Racer ‘ is one of those games you can easily work out that it was not made for VR. With its truly terrible controls and weird narrow vision filter when going at speed, it is almost as if the developer didn’t even test it when they made it. But to be fair the rest of the game ticks all the right boxes. It has 36 tracks over 6 environments and to be honest, those environments look pretty great and there is a multiplayer mode thrown in as well. There is indeed a lot of love with this game, but it needs some VR friendly controls and the ability to turn off that awful speed effect. For now, I will recommend it with a caution that it needs some work, but if those things are sorted out this will be worth getting, even at full price.
