Description: Drops is a gravity-based musical instrument set in a serene environment and designed from the ground up for VR. Drops was built to provide a way for those with little or no musical background or training to create rich and expressive polyphonic rhythms. At the same time, it offers sophisticated customization abilities to those who want to fine-tune their work. The initial release of Drops includes sets of shapes and sounds created in collaboration with noted electronic musician Patrick Russell and experimental composer Patrick Higgins.

Review: Drops: Rhythm Garden is one of those VR experiences in which there is no gameplay as such, but rather you make your own fun. That fun comes in the form of making music from drops of liquid. But unlike many other music-making apps this one is much more relaxing and peaceful to the point that hours can pass while you mess about with it. The idea is the drops act as a flow of the music as each drop hits eggs, balls and other things making a tone or beat. While it is not going to be for everyone I really enjoyed it and found it a nice bit of escapism.
