Description: “Welcome my boy, I am certain that you are aware of the situation but let me tell you, what you’re really involved. I am an old man and have many regrets. I don’t want another one by sending you out blindly. The power of magic disappeared practically overnight. We became defenceless and order was broken. We have paid the price for sharing this world with darkness. And we have forgotten what makes us stronger. All those years, we covered in fear by seeking the way of bringing magic back. And we finally discovered Rodlium, along with hope and courage. Once again we have the opportunity to reclaim our lands. And you my boy, you are a shield that guards the realms of lights, you are the axe that seeks justice, you are the defender of all. Go now and do not come back until the last goblin fall.”

Review: Dwarven Defender is an action defence game in which you need to stop waves of orcs and other creatures from destroying your giant crystal. But this is NOT a tower defence game, it is more an action hammer swinging game with some magic thrown in for good measure. I like that you can throw the hammers and that you get to move about freely, but it has to be said the action is not the best and it gets repetitive rather quickly. I just wish there was a boss fight or something to break the game up a bit. If you got this for a quid or two you might enjoy it more than I did, but I wouldn’t pay much more than that.
