Review: Once again we are dipping our VR toes into the sea of art and going on an interactive experience that can only be described as magical. You start off in a train with some rather scary looking figures that look a lot like Hitmonlee in Pokemon. Then as you start to look around with your tablet/torch you start to see the world around you fade away into something more beautiful and magical much like VR does.
From shooting seeds and planting trees with your slingshot, then using it to smash the boundaries of reality, there is a lot to interactive with and experience all on your own here. Each scene gets more and more amazing until you are sadly back in the train and the magical journey is over.
VR is such a wonderful platform for artistic experiences like this. Sure it would look nice on the TV, but being part of it, being able to interact with it just makes the art even more amazing. It’s beautiful, it’s moving and it’s well worth a download. This is one experience that you make yourself, that while on a linear path of events you still feel in control. The was apparently built in less than a month, so imagine what it would be like after a year’s work! Perfect for showcasing VR to all ages.
