Review: Fractal is one of those games that is fun and easy to play, but really hard to describe to anyone who might be watching you play it or just watched the trailer for it. It’s essentially a wave shooter crossed with a painting program. You can’t shoot as such, you can only block the enemies attacks with the right colour paint and brushstroke. Personally, I love the game, the mix of weird, crystal visuals and the paintbrush swinging action cross with dreamy music and dream-like scene. But no matter how much I love it that £4.99 asking price is still a big pill to swallow. I would definitely wait for a sale, but do consider picking it up. It might sound weird, but it really is an oddly wonderful experience even if it is shorter than my own stick man paintings.
