Review: If you ask me ‘FUTURE GPX CYBER FORMULA SIN VIER’ could easily have been something terrible. It’s supposed to be Chinese formula 1 racing, only set in the distant future. With booster rockets and fancy transforming cars to make them aerodynamic and then fast-breaking machines, it’s like a racing game made with Transformers. But it doesn’t suck at all, in fact, a LOT of work has gone into this game.
Each little part of the car can deeply affect its racing style meaning each customisable car has its own unique vehicle behaviour. Oh…and did I mention the gorgeous visuals? While playing in VR means you don’t get the full glory of your car opening and closing its flaps and boosters it still looks great (but like all racing games it is VERY nauseating). While there are only a handful of tracks (all of which can be raced mirrored) I still found I got my money’s worth here, but it certainly wouldn’t hurt to wait for a sale here. If you like your racing games do give this a look as it is way better than you might think.
