Review: Gunship Battle2 VR is a very polished game with loads of depth, a good storyline and tonnes of action. But it does take a while to get used to the unnecessarily complex controls and dare I say the missiles are a little rubbish. But other than that, I would be hard pressed to find flaws with this game, it’s so finished and compleat, unlike many other VR games out there.
What I love most about Gunship Battle2 VR is that it takes an old style of game genre, gives it a VR lick of paint and bingo, you have a great VR game and the helicopter simulator genre is revived! While basic in looks it just feels incredibly immersive and there were times my stomach dropped during takeoff, that is how real it feels sometimes. Playing this in VR with a gamepad feels awesome and while it isn’t the best helicopter game out there it’s still well worth a look.
