Description: Helm Or High Water is a VR pirate ship combat game with asymmetrical local co-op. Work together with a friend on keyboard and mouse or gamepad to control all aspects of the ship from the helm and sails to the cannons and crew. Pick your voyages carefully and with great cooperation you may have enough gold to upgrade your ship, improve the local island, to dress like the pirate lord you are, or just to pile up real big in the middle of town.

Review: ‘Helm or High Water’ is a two-player (no single player mode) pirate adventure game in which one of you plays the Captain who is takes care of all the action, including being able to shoot people on the enemy boats and the other person plays “the crew” and they control the sails, crew and cannonballs. It’s more a strategic side of things for those who like to put a bit of thought into their pirate ship battles.

While there is a small amount of fun to be had here I don’t think the upgradables justify the price you are paying. For £11.39 you are getting a low-poly game with almost no variety and a real lack of content. If this had been half price I might have suggested it was worth a look, but I don’t think you should consider paying more than that.
