Description: Higher Than Heights is Virtual Reality training for overcoming fear of heights. The product is the level first of five and is designed to help you overcome your fear of heights, using mixture of coaching techniques, exposure therapy, and neuro – linguistic suggestions.

Review: I firmly belive that VR can help people overcome fears and that using a virtual environment is the safest way for people to do just that. Higher Than Heights is not something that I would suggest anyone use thanks to it being bug ridden and in no way helpful for anyone with the fear of heights. While I did find the guidance voice to be calm and relaxing, the full motion is nauseating, the emotional state selector only lets you select “comfortable” and it doesn’t even guide you with a voice for each stage, only the top floor and the bottom have a guiding voice. Given that this is £10 there is simply no way I could suggest anyone download it. If it was free I would still be hating on it!

Having said that I do still believe that VR can help people overcome their fears and with a few tweaks this app could be very helpful. But not as it currently is and not with the ridiculous price tag attached to it.
