Description: Hitchhiker is a mystery game set along lost highways, where your goal is to solve the puzzle of your own backstory. As a hitchhiker with no memory or destination, you catch a series of rides across a strange and beautiful landscape, tracking the mysterious disappearance of a person close to you. Your drivers range from stoic farmers to off-duty waitresses, and each one has a story to tell. Clues appear, alliances emerge, and nothing is quite what it seems.

Review: ‘HitchHiker: A Mystery Game’ sees you playing the role of a hitchHiker (no spoiler there!) called Copernicus who is trying to discover his past. Each person you ride with is well narrated with some good quality voice acting, but the animations on each model do leave a lot to be desired. In fact, the graphics, on the whole, are not bad at all, but it does all get very repetitive the longer you play it. This is a story-driven game and while there are some puzzles and interactions they are more distractions from the main story than anything else. £14.99 isn’t a lot and I do think this game delivers on value for money. But with a touch more shine and polish it could have been so much more.
