Review: Let me start by saying I like ‘Immersion Chess’. It does what it needs to do and there is a multiplayer option (although you will need a friend as no-one plays this any more. But my biggest problem with ‘Immersion Chess’ what is the benefit? You can already play a number of good chess games in VR and this one offers nothing extra apart from a few other environments that you have to pay for! Yes it is nice playing chess inside of the virtual game world and yes this game is free, but it lacks the pizzazz that other chess games do and this is a shame. It’s not a terrible game by any means, just a little fruitless.
