Description: InMind is a short scientific adventure with arcade elements designed for the Oculus VR. This first demo allows the player to experience the journey into the patient’s brains in search of the neurons that cause mental disorder. Submerge into the microworld and experience the miracles of the human mind.

The future is nigh. Humanity is standing upon the brink of a new era where modern healthcare makes tremendous scientific advancements. With the help of nanotechnologies, a surgical prototype bathyscaphe allows its operator to shrink to a microlevel and travel inside the patient’s body. A unique experimental project made by Nival to test the opportunities of the new Virtual Reality provided by Oculus Rift.

Review: You play the role of a doctor or possibly a VR surgeon who is tasked to help cure a patient suffering from a depressive disorder. Don’t worry, you won’t need to counsel the patient for years to get over like in real life, you just need to find and destroy 50 bad neurones that are causing the patient’s problems. This is a look and auto shoot game running on a rollercoaster style rail that does get a little bit nauseating at times, but mostly it is a very enjoyable experience that just about anyone should be able to get to grips with.

You don’t need any controller, no keyboard controls, just a nod and look of the head. InMind VR is the sort of VR experience you would be happy to let your family try. It looks amazing, simple to play and has an educational undertone that helps to make it easier to digest. Educational experiences like this are what will make VR a success, so download it, support it and show as many people it as you can.
