Review: ‘Kayak VR: Mirage’ is a Kayak racing game with the option to gently Kayak across any of the four different environments on offer. There are 11 races to speed run on and day and night cycles for each race so there is enough variety to last a good while. Let’s start with the graphics because they are pretty amazing and dare I say quite realistic at points, but if you look a little closer you will notice chinks in its graphics armour with blurred textures and low-poly scenery.

OK, so there are no multiplayer options at the moment, but it is coming soon apparently. For now, you do get to race against ghosts, but I couldn’t find the friends ones, only AI arcade ghosts to challenge myself with. You will also need strong VR legs for this one as in racing mode it can be quite nauseating. But overall it is very impressive and does get an easy gold award from me. But without a multiplayer mode, you might want to grab it in a sale while you can.
