Review: If you are anything like myself you will be sick and tired of all the Beat Saber clones out there. So imagine how low my expectations were going into ‘Kongfusion’ which is just that, a Beat Saber clone in the Music/Rhythm genre. But I am happy to report that ‘Kongfusion’ not only beat my expectations, but it is something I can honestly say was a surprise hit! While the gameplay itself is very similar to Beat Saber the way in which it is presented is not. Instead of cubes, you get ninjas, instead of slices on cubes, you get punches in the air and blocking, ducking and even a few power moves all of this in time with the music. And guess what….the beat mapping is mostly on-point making the game fun to play! While I think it needs more polish to be worth the full £11.39 asking price I got this in a sale for just £5.69 and was very happy with my purchase. This gets the thumbs up from me and a self-recognition that I need to stop judging a book by its cover.
