Review: If you fancy a game on the slower pace of life, Lighter Than AR is the one for you. At its heart, it is a hot-air balloon simulator in which you can float around generally not doing much, but there are some mini-challenges to do if you are getting bored. It looks OK I suppose, but it is the lack of variety that kills this game for me. The free-flight in on rails, you never really have control over your balloon and there are no night and day cycles, missing the opportunity for an evening dusk balloon ride. For me, it’s just not worth the £3.99 asking price as of yet, but with a lot more variety in content, it might be.
