Description: Link Wars is a multiplayer real-time board game with an extra single-player puzzle campaign. The action happens in real-time with cooldowns on a board where players drop tokens, fire rockets, and build walls. Players can also rotate the board and score by creating linear sequences of tokens giving incrementally more points as the sequence becomes longer. Combos multiply the score. The online competitive mode is fast-paced and challenging. The single-player campaign is relaxed and requires ingenious thinking.

Review: ‘Link Wars’ is a multiplayer puzzle game that is very much like classic match 3 games like Bejeweled or any other game in the same genre. It looks OK I suppose with some nice 3D effects, but there really isn’t any need for it to be in VR and would look just as good on a 2D screen. Sadly, even after the first 20 mins of gameplay, I had no idea what I was supposed to do or how a multiplayer game would even work. Sure, I got there in the end, but that is not something that should happen as it doesn’t have any tutorial. The key thing to remember here is that it is free as that is a good thing as even the smallest of fees would have put me off recommend this. Do give it a chance if you like games like Zuma and Tetri, but don’t expect much when it costs nothing.
