Review: ‘Lucky Fish Bread’ is a virtual chef style game in which you will be making various styles of ‘Taiyaki’ which is a Japanese street food shaped to look like a red sea bream fish. But it is not just the shape you have to worry about, it is all the fillings, toppings and different ways of presenting it. To be honest it is fun for a little while and the learning curve is not too bad at all. Having said that I am terrible at these types of games, so I did struggle even on the early levels.

If you ask me there isn’t enough verity in gameplay here to justify the £9.29 asking price. It looks OK I guess and it is fun to play for a short while, but things soon get repetitive and samey and there simply isn’t enough content overall. If it had been half that price it would have been worth a go, but until it is I would hold off trying it until it is in a sale.
