Review: Why on earth there haven’t been more games like Lucky’s Tale for our VR headsets I will never know because VR platforms feel and look amazing, but hey ho, you can’t ask for miracles. Lucky’s Tale is a game full of colour and exploration and played with a gamepad it feels amazing, but to be fair the motion controllers feel just as nice. If you like old-school platform games with coins and breakable boxes this is the game for you because Lucky’s Tale takes influence from a number of different classic games. Here is the bottom line. This rereleased version of ‘Lucky’s Tale’ is NOT the ‘Lucky’s Tale’ us OG Oculus Rift owners wanted nor deserve. But yet, it is still the same great game and it is indeed a game worth owning. But having to pay more for the same game on the same Oculus eco-system leaves a bad taste in the mouth.
