Description: Experience the thrilling life of a Lumberjack in virtual reality with Lumberjack VR, an arcade action game for the HTC Vive. Fight your way through waves of logs, lumber and bombs with nothing but an axe in your hand.

Play in 3 levels, each with its own unique mechanics. Score as high as possible to continue to the next wave and to reach the top of the leaderboard. Each level consists of 5-10 waves. You must reach the target score to continue to the next wave before the timer hits zero. If you fail, you will be sent back to wave 1. You score points by chopping wood as straight and even as possible. You can also score points by hitting the massive target boards with bombs, performing tricks and more. If you struggle to compete on the leaderboards, you can hone your skills in the training levels to become a master Lumberjack.

Review: Lumberjack VR is pretty much what you are expecting it to be. But this is no job-sim, it is a fun action game with two game modes which are classic and the training levels. During the main game you have a set amount of point you need to get before you can move on to the next challenge. While the scenery never changes it does get harder and harder. While there is a range of weapons you can unlock none of them really help you much more than the first axe. While there isn’t a whole lot of content here I do feel £0.79 is about the right asking price. Its fun, it’s cheap and if you turn out to be a Lumberjack by trade…well…that’s OK.
