Review: Taking into account that it was released over 3 years ago I still have to give kudos to how much ‘MarineVerse Cup’ has improved since its Steam VR release. This is a much more polished, more fun version of the game with a much large emphasis on the multiplayer side of things. But it does come with some caveats like a monthly fee on top of the launch price (if you want to do all the online challenges and events.) and the feel of the game still feels too ‘arcady’ for its own good with super-fast acceleration and lack or more fine control of the boat.

It will be exciting to see how this game evolves and while you could argue about the lack of single-player content and the rather annoying £10 monthly fee this is a game in which it asks you to commit to those online events and really become part of the community. I loved the Steam version of this game, but this is so much more and I love it.
