Description: You work as a reporter for a small local newspaper. One fine evening, you receive a message from your friend Ada that something mystical is happening in the vicinity of the Santa Monica Psychiatric Hospital. The most hopeless psychos from all the states were brought there! So you take a video camera and decide to check what was really going on there. But the story you’re getting into is so terrifying that you will remember it for your whole life! And it depends only on you whether you can unravel this tangle of chaos and horror and survive.

Review: ‘Mental Hospital VR’ is a pretty typical horror game with some nice scenery all set in environments that are often too dark for their own good. The thing is this game ticks all the right boxes and nothing else. It doesn’t bring anything new to the genre, but it does deliver a good VR horror experience. While all the text is in Russian you really don’t need to know what it is saying anyway. I got this in a sale for just £5.03 and I was happy with paying that. There are a few good jump scares here and it took me well over an hour to finish it (but I was going quite slowly). There is some potential here I suppose, but it needs some serious updates before it is something I can recommend.
