Review: With such happy memories of the original Micro Machine games (and the toys) I had high hopes for this game and it didn’t let me down. It looks pretty much the same as the original game (only in VR you get a much better perspective of the racing surfaces like the kitchen table and sink. It sounds silly to say this, but in VR they do look like the things they are supposed to be, mostly because they have taken the effort to make it look better for VR.

Sadly there are times when the deep 3D scenery can get in the way of the track, blocking your view, but trust me, after just a few laps you will soon get used to this. But it is the lack of online multiplayer that will put a lot of people off. But believe me when I tell you this game is worth its asking price for the single player alone. Truly a great game that works better in VR than I would have thought. Dare I say, I enjoyed this version more than the original! (Reading this somewhere is a retro gamer who has just passed out because I said that.)
