Review: From the off, I need to remind people that this review is based on the VR side of ‘Microsoft Flight Simulator’ as well as the game as whole. Anyway, the game itself is probably THE best flight-sim game in VR or in any format. It not only incredible but it offers something for everyone. You can simplify the control and fly around with a gamepad, or you can go the full hog and take control of just about everything. You can fly to your house here or you can learn to become a real pilot and fly passenger planes around the world. On the whole MFS is stunning and I can’t recommend it enough.

Now for the VR side of things which is a little bit crappy and much appreciated. You see, there is no motion controller support here, so you can just look about and use normal controllers to fly the plane. But this is not a game made for VR, it’s just a game that had VR implementation to shut up all us VR owners asking for it and I for one appreciate it. No its not perfect, but adding VR was never about making the perfect VR game, it was about giving people the option to use their VR headsets inside the game, for budding pilots and avid VR owning flight simulator enthusiasts. Don’t get this “game” for the VR side of it, get it for the love of the game, then maybe try out the VR side of it to enjoy it a little more.
