Review: If you enjoy games like Fish Tales and Feeding Frenzy (fish-eating games) Munch is a game you will want to play. The idea is pretty simple. Using a well-animated fish locked onto the Oculus Touch controller you must guide your “Nemo” around the place eating anything smaller than you, but all the while avoiding anything bigger than you. While it sounds simplistic it works incredibly well in VR and I have to say I am surprised Big Fish games didn’t come up with it themselves.

Munch is a classic game reworked and a great use of motion controller. With some nice colourful graphics and very simple gameplay, this is a game the whole family can play. The little ones will be amused for quite a while, but us adults might find it a little bit repetitive. My biggest gripe about this game was the asking price. Even at half the current asking price, it would have been a struggle to justify it. But if you see it in a sale for half or less do pick it up especially if you have little ones.
