Review: Looking at various theme park news stories and predictions it seems virtual reality is a large part of the future of theme parks and lots of companies would like to be the driving force behind it. One such company is OCT Vision from China. Besides being the largest theme park operator in China, they also design and manufacture various multimedia attractions. Thier headset at the IAAPA 2015 Amusement Ride Show allowed the participant to experience virtually a new type of Observation tower, but they also do thrill rides and rollercoasters as well.
This headset got a lot of people’s interest. Not meant for public buying it is a HI-tech experience at theme parks and arcades. The main things it will be used for showing are 360 full dome movies like experiences about flying, dark rides, fun rides and all sorts of other experiences and interactive shows, not exclusively rollercoasters. Very little else is known about this headset, but if we discover anymore we will let you know.
