Description: Onward is a Mil-Sim paced tactical multiplayer shooter, being developed for virtual reality head-mounted displays. Players will use coordination, communication, and marksmanship skill to complete objectives in online infantry combat. With dynamic time of day, weather effects, and multiple environments and scenarios, no skirmish will feel the same. With limited respawns, no HUDs, and no crosshairs, players will need their wits and combat skills to survive.
Review: While you do have to take its age into account Onward is still a pretty impressive online FPS that many people still enjoy today. Sadly online players have long abandoned this game, but at least it has the feature if you can get some friends together to play it. Anyone who likes games like PUBG will be right at home here but do expect some nausea as the full motion does call for your VR legs. The main issue with this game is its price. At £18.99 there is just no way to justify it and while there is a good few days content here even in the single-player mode it’s still not enough to make me recommend it at that price. But I would definitely keep an eye out for it in a sale and get some friends to do the same thing.
