Review: While this is not so much a jibe, more a POF, I feel ‘OPERATION SERPENS’ doesn’t really know what sort of game it is. It tries to be a serious FPS game, but ends up being an arcade shooter, but it has zombies and other things that bring it back into a more serious tone. Or maybe I am just missing the point and it is both a serious shooter and an arcade one. Whatever it is I did enjoy playing it. The action was fast and furious and there were enough waves of enemies to keep the game ticking over. But the graphics will put some people off looking for a serious shooter as they are a little cartoony in style, but the gameplay does feel serious and you will enjoy its playstyle for a good while. I’m still not convinced that the game is worth the full £11.39 asking price, but I got this in a sale for £5.69 and I was pretty happy with my purchase so take from that what you will.
