Description: Out of Ammo Death Drive is a hybrid game experience: one part base builder, one part first-person action. Collect scrap, build emplacements and possess individual units. Make use of whatever you find on the battlefield to shoot, crush and maim the undead hordes hunting you down.
Review: I have to say that I wasn’t a fan of the original ‘Out of Ammo‘ but the good news is ‘Out of Ammo: Death Drive’ is a lot better. I especially liked the mix of both first-person and third-person perspective as the storyline commences making you feel a lot more part of the game and the storyline (while quite comical) did hold my interest. OK, so it has the same Minecraft style of weapons, but the action in this game is a lot more interesting and there are some great weapons to dispatch your low-polygon zombie foe. OK, so it’s better than the original, but there just isn’t enough content here to justify the £7.19 asking price. While I would pay half of that I still don’t think this game is all that great and while better than the original for sure it is still not all that great.
