Description: Born in the vibrations of music, Party Pumper is a game about parties and for parties! Player’s goal is to entertain the audience by mixing a music samples. Combine this with a dance movements and fun party gadgets action, interact with partygoers crowd and pump the party!
Review: ‘Party Pumper’ reminds me very much of Electronauts in which it is both a game and a music maker of sorts. Only with ‘Party Pumper’ the goal of the game really is to get the party pumping and make the crowd as happy as possible. You play the role of a DJ who gets small music samples to play around with as you wish, but that is kind of where the game fails as it never really feels like a game, more interactive musical experience. I love the crowd side of things as it does make it more immersive, but you soon realise they just do certain relations to the things you do, there is no real challenge here, just something to have a load of fun with. The…”game” is easily worth the small £6.19 asking price as it has enough content and quality, but it will divide peoples opinions, so do wait for a good sale price before giving it a go if you are not sure it is your cup of tea.
