Description: On November 1, 1952, the United States detonated the world’s first hydrogen bomb on Enewetak Atoll in the Pacific Ocean. In this VR experience you will feel the effects of “Ivy Mike” 10 km from ground zero. You’ll get to walk on top of a nuclear waste site and meet people living on the atoll today.

Review: ‘Perspectives: Paradise’ is a rather interesting VR experience in which you get to see the world’s first hydrogen bomb being tested. With a mix of 360 video, 2D video and 360 images some of which are a little crappy, but most of it is informative in some way. To be fair to the developers there is a good amount of content here if you want to look at and watch all of it, but to be honest the main ‘explosion’ is well worth a look. For a freebie, this well worth a download and way better presented than many other VR experiences. While the subject matter isn’t for everyone it is presented good enough to hold most peoples interest through the main video.
