Pimax Artisan (2020)

Presentation: At least the unboxing experience is a little better with the Pimax Artisan. The black, compact box feels nice in the hand and feels much sturdier than all the previous Pimax headsets. Opening the outer box you are presented with the headphones on top of the headset and some smaller boxes with all the leads and paperwork you might need. Compared to the original Pimax 8K this packaging is a real set-up and much, much better in terms of both protection and quality.

Pimax Artisan (2020)

Review: And here we are again with the Pimax Artisan that suffers exactly the same issues all the other 8K headsets have. OK, so it is a lot more affordable now that is for sure, but you still have the same set-up issues, the same troubles getting the software to run and then when it is finally running the same issues getting it as clear as possible. If you have no other Pimax headset you might as well go for this one because of affordability, but this is STILL not a headset for the average VR user, it is for VR enthusiasts only and even they are sick and tired of thee headsets SKUs by now.
