Review: Let’s get the obvious fact out of the way first. Yes, POPULATION: ONE is basically a rip-off VR version of Fortnite. But lets us start with the good news. Yes, this is probably the best FPS shooter for our VR headsets with a large community of players, but sadly no single-player modes. This is a game that you will have almost endless fun playing and dare I say it looks pretty great as well. The gameplay mechanics are solid and the amount of unlockables is vast and keeps growing. But the price tag is still too high if you ask me given that you will have to pay additional fees to unlock the best costumes and things. Sure, you can grind hard for them, but that will take far too long for most people.

This is indeed a great game, but it wasn’t my own personal cup of tea as I found the player base to be too young and the lack of single-player mode annoying. I just think you will be better off waiting for this in a sale as you will feel much better paying less and not enjoying it as you would paying the full price and end up hating it. I just wish there was a timed demo or something for us to try before we buy, but I guess there isn’t a demo because too many people might decide not to buy.
