Overall Packaging Presentation: The saying goes “good things come in small packages” and that is exactly that the box for the Portable VR is. It’s small in size, but it also looks quite nice with an etched silver blueprint of the headset and the name of it. Inside the box, there isn’t room to fit a spare lens in it, it’s as tightly packaged as possible which should keep the headset quite safe inside.
Whats in the box…
- Microfiber Cloth
- Instruction Booklet
First Impressions: It might look and feel a little cheap from first looks, but you soon realise that while made of not much more than plastic it is quite a complicated little headset. The name really does say it all, it folds so small you will hardly notice it inside your pocket. But it also feels strangely well made. It doesn’t feel as weak to hold as many other folding mobile VR headsets we have reviewed.

Features Review: Its main feature is the foldable aspect. To be fair it really does fold down to a very small size, but just because it fold small doesn’t mean it’s short on features. With independent pupil adjustment and some focus adjustment, it has more features than many of the much bigger headsets we have reviewed.

Final Verdict: When it comes to VR on the go the Portable VR headset is a pretty good option. It folds down small, is ultra lightweight and has some good adjustable features. For something that is not much bigger than a pack of Tic Tac’s it does quite a lot making it a worthy buy for those need VR while outdoors.
