Overall Packaging Presentation: It didn’t have a box on arrival to us, just heavily wrapped in bubble paper. But it did arrive very safe and sound without a mark or scratch on it.

Whats in the box…

  • Headset
  • Microfiber Cloth
  • Instruction Booklet
  • Wireless Bluetooth Controller

VR Sky

First Impressions: Once out of the bag it looks and feels like a pretty good well-balanced headset. While it does feel big in the hands it doesn’t feel unnecessarily over-sized. It’s strong, big design is very much like a Gear VR, in fact…it is almost identical, if not a little better!

Features Review: Sadly the focus and pupil distance isn’t independently adjustable, but at least it has both. No magnet / touch button to speak of but at least the rest of the headset like the head straps / face padding is well made and feels very comfortable.

Final Verdict: When compared to the Gear VR it seems to fall short. But given that this headset is 1/5th the price of the Gear VR you can suddenly start to respect it a little more. It’s strong, well made and feels like a great headset. While the lack of independently adjustable features and touch button does let it down its value for money is what makes it a great buy.

Thanks for the review! it really does look like a knock version of the Samsung VR! It also seems fairly new. I’ve not seen it before on Amazon or eBay? Either way, for the price point … You can’t really go wrong.
