Overall Packaging Presentation: The headset comes in quite a basic looking box with a bit of writing all over it and a drawing of the headset. While nothing special it has more going on that many other headset boxes. Inside the device is bagged and arrived at our office completely undamaged.

VR Start Pro 8
First Impressions: The first thing you notice is just how small and thin it is. At just 11mm thick and 11cm long you know this is a very small and compacted headset. With the suckers to hold it securely to the phone and all the hinges working properly, it is a small but slick device that gets the job done. Only just, but it does.

Features Review: To be honest, it’s only feature is the fact that it folds almost as flat as a pancake, but that is a pretty good feature! OK, so they say that the focus adjustment is possible when you hold it in the right way and while that is true it is far too fiddly to be considered a feature.

Final Verdict: Comparing this headset, it is a lot smaller, cheaper and lighter than many other folding mobile VR headsets available. But sadly it is also lacking in features compared to many of them as well. For VR on the go at a fantastic price this might be a good choice. Just don’t expect much bang for your buck as they say.
