Description: As you travel to find a new home for a near-extinct species you reach Alpha Centauri. A safe haven from the zemulons a fierce warrior species but as you arrive to take this home as your own you the native population protect themselves from an invasion of there homeworld.
This game features a survival like aspect of protecting yourself from the zemulons. As you progress the rounds get harder but give the potential to upgrade your ship, what you choose decides your fate.
Review: Project Centauri is a space shooter style game in which you control a spaceship that is stuck on the end of your motion controller. So you get to move and doge about as hast as your arm can move. While mostly dark space the small explosions, particle effects and the ships themselves look pretty good, especially when they get up close. But it is the gameplay that lets the game down and you find yourself getting bored of it far too quickly. The game just lacks depth and strategy meaning it is just the same things, the same ships over and over. I wouldn’t want anyone to pay £4.79 for this (the current price) but if you got this as part of a cheap bundle of games you might appreciate it a little more than I did.
