Description: Reborn: A Samurai Awakens is a first-person VR action-adventure that combines robots, samurais, and sword fights. The player is a samurai that were resurrected by future technology to fight against robotic invaders. To complete the mission, the player must infiltrate the enemy base.

In Reborn: A Samurai Awakens, the fast-paced sword fights scenes, high tech weapon choice, and supernatural Forces enable players to experience samurai-like valor. When an enemy attacks the player, blocking the attack can activate a time warp mechanism that kills the enemy with samurai power.

Review: It feels like ‘Reborn: A Samurai Awakens’ has been on the cards of the PSVR forever, but the day is finally here when it gets released and I dare say it has been worth the wait. With some nice sword/lightsaber action mixed in with some shooting this game goes all out for action and feels very much like Robo Recall on the Oculus Rift. Featuring some truly epic boss fights as well as some great ‘bullet-time’ mechanics this game feels polished and way more professional looking than its low price tag suggests. But its price tag is mostly due to the amount of content and to be honest, there isn’t much past replaying the same levels over and over to get a better score.

For me personally all it was really missing was a multiplayer mode, but other than that this is well worth a download even at full price. While far from perfect for a few good hours at least it draws you into its all-action world and slow-motion satisfying kills. Its been a long wait for sure, but it was worth waiting for.
