Review: Having played Resident Evil 4 on the PlayStation 2 a long time ago I just thought this was going to be some poor mans knock-off with VR bolted onto the sides. The good news is that is simply not the case. This game has been rebuilt for VR and that time and effort really shows. You interact with the puzzles and shooter where you want, sometimes with both hands and even the cut-scenes have been made VR friendly. OK, so it’s not perfect and dare I say it looks a little dated now. Oh, and the gun reload mechanic take a little getting used to. But this is still a great game and it felt just as exciting to play as the original. For me, the price was a little too high, but I am still going to give it a gold award for the nostalgia levels I felt while playing it, but people who have never played RE 4 before might find the price a little steep.
