Review: Russian VR Coasters is a collection of 4 different themed rollercoaster tracks. We have ‘Russian Zombies Coaster’, ‘Russian Coaster in the Castle’, ‘Russian Coaster in the Andes’ and ‘Russian Coaster in Space’. Each is pretty well themed and full of all the usual sights and sounds you would expect to see and hear. There are big jumps, loops, corkscrews and the odd close shave to enjoy, but mostly you will be simply enjoying the scenery which does look good in certain sections. Controls are as simple as they get, you look at which coaster you want to ride and it will start playing it. There is no station to wait in, it starts playing straight away.

VR roller coaster apps are always good for a smile or two and this one is no different. But it also suffers from VR nausea thanks to the forever dipping frame rate, but overall you can sit back and enjoy each ride. I also have to give the makers credit for the amount of variety in each track. Sure, they all have a similar feel to them, but visually there is some good variety. This is not the best rollercoaster app I have ever experienced, but it is far from being the worse. I think its best to wait for a sale before giving it a go unless you really love your VR rides.
