Description: In this Murder Party game, play online in VR with 3-15 players in a mysterious mansion where you were supposed to spend a nice weekend with your “friends”, but beware: it seems one of you didn’t consider your friendship as shiny as you did. Question is who ? It may be everyone… Even you… Who knows!
Review: ‘Scary Buddies’ is supposed to be a murder-mystery style game much like “Between us” but nowhere near as much fun. Played with up to 12 players (but no-one is online so you will have to play with friends) you run around a mansion trying to discover who is the killer. Sadly all the game really breaks down to is a cheap shooter as in the end everyone gets a gun and it just ends in a shit-show.
OK, so it isn’t exactly a great murder mystery game, but it does look OK and it is 100% free. I am sure with the right friends you could have a good laugh here, but it is one of those games you will have to make your own fun up as none is supplied. At the end of the day if this game wasn’t 100% free I don’t think I could recommend it.
