Description: Shadows of the Cloud is an open-world virtual reality RPG. The unique first/third person locomotion preserves the vastness of the open-world. No motion sickness and no teleporting! If you want to move with traditional “touchpad locomotion” in first person, no problem! Stay in first person while moving. If you are prone to motion sickness, no problem! Simply switch to third person and move your character. If you character gets far enough away from the camera, the camera will snap back to the character. Then, switch back to first person during combat.
Review: I’m not quite sure what the developer was going for with Shadows of the Cloud but it seems it was an idea that was too big for their own skills because it never got past the free demo of which you can still play today. But let me save you a few moments of your life and tell you there is no point, it is utter rubbish. The game is too basic looking, the game is too dark to see anything anyway and the gameplay feels like you are playing in a Playmobile world. This is one game I am glad got dropped because there would be no price I would be willing to pay for this.
