Description: SHOW MUST GO ON is an easy to play rhythm VR game. Jump onto the stage and make your music show. Feel the beat. Hit the drums. Puncture the bubbles. Play with the rhythm. Fill the stage with colours and lights. If you like energetic music, rhythm and drums, this game will give you a lot of fun!

Review: Even in these early years of VR development, there are quite a few VR music rhythm games. Why? Because they work well in VR. Music and visual working together make something much bigger than the two of them singularly. But throw in some motion controllers as well and you have all the ingredients to make a deeply immersive and highly enjoyable game. SHOW MUST GO ON really does bring some great music to the table from hip-hop to dance, soft rock to Reggae music. There really is something here for everyone. But this is not like any other music rhythm game you have played before.

In previous games of this genre, you have danced, played drums and sometimes other instruments as well. With each song on SHOW MUST GO ON you will be doing all those things and then some. Played around a giant rotating ring you will be playing Bubbles (Puncture the Bubbles in the Exact Moment the Whole Bubble Fills With Color), Drums (You Need to Hit the Drum in the Exact Moment the Marker Passes Through the Hoop) and Sound Trackers (Grab the Bubbles in the Exact Moment the Whole Bubble Fills With the Colour). You never know what next and all of them have various shapes and styles.

While the range of music in this game is far better than almost all other rhythm games, the game itself is not as enjoyable to play as let’s say Beats Fever or Air Tone. Having said that get the right beat and the right instrument and it feels amazing. But sadly the instrument will soon swap out taking that deep immersion away. Still, a great try that can only get better and better with a few simple changes. Until that beat lines up it correct I wouldn’t pay £10.99, instead, I would wait for a good sale price.
