Description: Silicon Rising gives you an all-new experience for an old school arcade-style game, pushing the FPS genre forward with a new VR experience. Fight deadly enemies while dodging gracefully through a storm of attacks. It makes for a totally immersive game experience, you might find yourself dropping to the floor to avoid the hail of bullets. At the same time, you need to watch your back; enemies don’t only attack from the front. Stay alert and use your superb shooting skills to quickly take out wave after wave of enemies.

Review: From the moment you start playing ‘SILICON RISING’ it is clear that a LOT of time and effort has gone into making this game look as good as possible. Apart from a few sparse moments, you could even say it was AAA title quality. But sadly this quality is not matched when it comes to the gameplay. It just feels like a basic arcade shooter rather than the big sci-fi visual-fest that it is. You can dodge things easily, even on the later levels and the gameplay never feels stable, with gaming being the biggest issue. To be honest, the game doesn’t sound great either with repetitively annoying soundtracks and dodgy voice acting, but that would just be trying to pick holes. but then again the game only costs £15.49 and it is easily worth that, but I do feel it could have been way better than it currently is.
