Review: Solitaire VR is what you have probably already guessed. It’s a solitaire card game app! But not just that, this is so much more than that, it features a great storyline, a dark, immersive and full explorable playing environment as well as loads of hidden animations in the scenery and deck of cards, this is one amazing looking card game.

You get to play solitaire in 3 styles: Klondike, Freecell and Yukon (These are the 3 main types most people will play) but there is also a storyline to discover and a fully animated playing environment to explore. So when the cards get a little boring because they are not going your way, just get up and start walking around and discover a little bit more about the storyline. This is a dark, murder mystery style of card game app that features little things to see and do just about everywhere.

I’ve played quite a few solitaire games in my life trying to escape doing other with while here in the VR Shop office, but this is the best-looking solitaire game I have ever played. But is there a point to all the wonderful graphical elements this game has to offer? Well, not really. But that doesn’t mean it isn’t a fantastic way to play solitaire, it just means it wanted to be much more but didn’t really know what it wanted to be so tried to be everything to everyone. If you love card games like solitaire you will think this app is amazing, for the rest of us it is little more than a good way to pass some time.
