Description: Somni is a co-op psychological horror game with support for up to 6 players. It is your duty to survive the night identifying and exterminating the threat at hand. Use paranormal detection equipment such as thermometers, cameras, and EMF readers to find out what kind of entity you are dealing with from up to 6 different kinds of ghosts, or mythical creatures such as the Wendigo. Perform Séances to speak to the entity, and complete different immersive rituals to send whatever has been haunting you back from where it came.

Review: I’m not quite sure what the goal with ‘Somni’ was, but if that goal was to make a mess of a game the developers can consider it a job well done. It reminds me a lot of phasmophobia that is also an online horror game (only it was good). From the VR mode not working properly to the game played on a flat-screen being full of bugs, this game just doesn’t seem to do anything well. It doesn’t have enough content, its hard to play and that is all provided you can get the game to play in the first place! It is clear to me that this game was launched far too early, so there is hope for it if they can sort out all the bugs and VR related issues, but for now, I would leave it alone.
