Description: Spuds are potato-like hilarious creatures that love a good fight. In fact, they fought so much that they completely obliterated their mother planet – The Soil. Fragments of this planet have been scattered across the galaxy and now are habited by rotten Zombuds – Spuds that went crazy after spending too much time on their own outside of the civilization. However, there are Spud heroes that have a mission of reuniting their civilization. The game starts after one of these heroes discovers the robotic AI hands on an abandoned planet that once was a home for many. This is where you come in!

Review: While on the surface ‘Spuds Unearthed’ looks pretty much like a cartoon style turret shooter there is also a god-sim style game underneath it. This game really does chuck you into the deep-end with no tutorial or guide in any way. What this is frustrating it also means you experiment a little more and given time will find yourself slipping into the game a little deeper. There is a good amount of variety in the units, towers and vehicles and overall the game is fun to play, but I just feel the lack of multiplayer and battles to do overall are lacking given the high £9.29 price tag. If you get this in a sale it is well worth a look, but do be willing to give this game some time to grow on you as it is not an instant grab.
