Description: Heroism in battle is traditionally celebrated with a statue. Every day, the staff at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital witness extraordinary bravery from kids battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Yet these unsung heroes haven’t been celebrated at the scale they deserve. Now, thanks to virtual reality, we’ve changed that. The St. Jude Hall of Heroes is a celebration to the inspiring strength of its young patients – by turning them into 60 feet tall statues.

Review: I have to be cruel to be kind when it comes to reviewing ‘St. Jude Hall of Heroes’. I am sure the parents of the children features in this app are very proud of this as are the children themselves. The stories are nothing sort of amazing as well as being inspirational to others who might be going through something similar. Sadly the way this app was made sucks and there is no better word to describe it. In fact, it would be just as good an experience if there was no interaction at all. Yes, it’s moving and sure to make at least a few people cry, but it could have been presented so much better.
