Description: Sweet Surrender is a Roguelike shooter set in a dystopian megatower where you must adapt to a ruthless, fast-paced action-packed environment. Use explosives, melee weapons, guns and upgrades to take down the machines hunting you as you fight your way to the summit through procedurally generated levels.

Review: ‘Sweet Surrender VR’ is a shooter that has a definite tone of Borderlands 2 VR, with the same cell-shaded art-style and crazy Chappie like robots and it doesn’t look different to the Steam VR version in any way (if you ask me it doesn’t anyway). All the levels are randomly generated so you never play the same one twice, but it does have to be said that this leads to the graphics getting tiresome rather quickly. But when it comes to gameplay this game does tick a lot of good boxes. There is enough settings to keep most people happy and enough gameplay options to easily justify its own asking price. But it is far from flawless with many kinks and bugs still left to be ironed out which is surprising given that this game is NOT in early access. I do like the game and I can easily recommend it to others, but if you can grab it in a sale (given the rawness of the game) you will appreciate it more than I did.
