Review: ‘Sword Reverie’ is a fantasy adventure action game with a wonderfully colourful world to explore and battle monsters in. The game certainly looks the part and all the sound effects, music and voice acting give this game a polished, professional feel about it. The whole game gives off vibes of being a classic Japanese RPG, but sadly it doesn’t quite bear fruit for the developers hard work.

Despite all the things I love about this game I simply can’t recommend it at the moment. For me, the combat was just lame and boring with no real excitement and a lack of verity in enemy types. Sadly for me, the game just feels a little too dull for its own good. Even the movement feels slow and sluggish! For now, I would hold off getting this game, but do keep an eye out for future updates to see if things change. It’s been hard to be not to give this game a silver rating, but I feel Bronze was the right choice…for now.
