Description: Tengutana is a virtual reality puzzle game. The player needs to have a sharp eye and good aim as he will have to swing with katana and throw shurikens to solve the tasks at hand. Your training will be assisted by a supernatural being that will guide you through the whole process. The goal of the game is to gather souls of fallen warriors by solving puzzles. Puzzles are made up by cuttable and non-cuttable objects, moving platforms, explosive barrels, portals and more.
Review: Tengutana is a puzzle game of sorts in which you are told by a Tengutana (a Japanese trickster demon) to get a glowing orb onto the target board. You can’t touch that said orb, but it is always on top of crates in which you will need to slice those crates at an angle in order to make sure the ball rolls onto the target pad. Things are not always that easy and even halfway through the 50+ levels, they started to get quite challenging. While the puzzles do get a little repetitive I feel this game easily gives you your money’s worth. While not amazing graphically the gameplay and strategy involved keep the game going.
